An API for manipulation of different closed captions & subtitle formats

Solution

Cap.s is Mediagaps’new project for manipulation of different closed captions & subtitles . The goal is to create an API that will enable extraction, conversion and insertion of different Closed Captions and subtitles formats.

Demo

At this stage and while the work is still underway, we want to share a very simple Demo tool that will extract and convert ARIB subtitles and create an SRT file as output. This Demo tool will accept MPEG TS files only, with Arib subtitiles.

Ability to extract an subtitles and saved them into a file format

Conversion

Convert from/to functions

Check our Github demo tool Arib to SRT. 

It accepts MPEG TS files and it will extract and convert ARIB subtitles and create an SRT file as output.
